A SÈVRES OVIFORM TEA POT AND COVER

with interlaced “L”, marks with “HH” for 1785, (Théière Calabre), each side painted with an oval panel, one with a dragoon leaning against a tree stump in landscape, the other with a soldier in a blue coat flirting with a girl beside a barrel, within gilt tooled cartouches, on a pointille celadon ground, the gilding probably by a member of the Wedinger family, 13.5cm high

Appears in good overall condition. The finial to the top has been restored and there is a small chip to the underside of the lid, there are some small cracks to the bottom of the handle where the handle meets the body; they most likely occurred during the firing ands some small chips to the tip of the spout (please see additional images)
