the beaker circa 1730, the saucer circa 1780, painted in the Kakiemon style with a red and blue quail under a flowering prunus tree, and with a flowering plant and insect within a brown rim, the cup with blue crossed swords mark, the saucer with blue crossed swords and star mark, 13.5cm diameter

The cup does not appear to have any signs of restoration, there is some rubbing to the decoration consistent with age and some wear to the base. The saucer has had a piece re-glued professionally which is nearly invisible to the naked eye (please see additional images)
