A MEISSEN HAUSMALEREI CHINOISERIE TEA BOWL AND SAUCER

circa 1723-25, the decoration circa 1730, painted in the Auffenwerth workshop, almost certainly by Elizabeth Wald, each side of the tea bowl with Orientals on terraces within shaped oval gilt cartouches, the interior with Indianische Blumen below a glitter-work border, the saucer similarly decorated, 12.5cm diameter

In good overall condition. There is some rubbing to the gilt decoration consistent with age. There are some minor touch ups to the rim of the saucer in a couple of places where it has been chipped. Otherwise, there are no obvious signs of damage (please see additioanl images)
