A NYMPHENBURG GROUP OF “THE SLEEPER DISTURBED”
circa 1770, after a model by Franz Anton Bustelli, with a farm boy curled up asleep in a series of “C”-scrolls leaning against an obelisk, beside a farm girl playing the xylophone, and a dog, on a shaped shallow grassy mound, the base edged with scrolls enriched in colours, with impressed Bavarian shield mark, 24cm high
