A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SERVICE

by James Deakin & Sons, Birmingham 1876, comprising a teapot, cream jug and two handled sucrier, with pierced gadrooned rims and squat reeded bodies, the latter two with gilded interiors, gross weight 21 tr. ozs; together with a silver salt; and three silver thimbles (two by Charles Horner)

The tea service is of good guage and quality and overall in good condition. There is slight denting to tip of spout. 

The salt is by Docker & Burn, Birmingham 1922, weight 1.8 tr. oz.

Two of the thimbles are by Charles Horner with Chester hallmarks (one 1899, the other with rubbed date leter). The third thimble is hallmarked for Birmigham 1902
