The rock crystal ring displays some wear and surface scratching to the shank and setting, with some slightly deeper scratching to the outside of the back of the band. There is no evidence of resizing, it is possible that some repair work may have been carried out to one of the shoulders. The claws are largely free from wear and the stone appears to be secure, but there is a slight rattle. The stone displays a small amount of wear to the girdle with some minor nibbling in places; there is a small flaked chip hidden under one of the end claws; the table is free from significant scratching; the facets are generally crisp and free from abrasion. The shank is rounded, there is no evidence of thinning. The ring is marked '9ct'. Ring size M 1/2.
