Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The brooch is in good condition, though displays some slight surface wear and discolouration in places. The pin is in place and the hinge functions well, securing stiffly with a c-clasp. All pearls are present and appear to have good nacre and lustre, there are no obvious replacements. The aquamarine displays some nibbling along the edge of the table, there are also some small nibbles on the facets of the crown and pavillion. The setting appears secure, with no obvious losses to the claws or bead work. The brooch measures approximately 4.3cm wide.

The box is in fair condition, the hinge is functional but the clasp is absent. There is some scuffing and marking to both the exterior and interior.
