The diamond set brooch displays some surface wear, but no significant damage is visible. There is a small amount of denting on the edge of two fan crests, and it is likely the pin has been replaced. The 'C' clasp is present as is the locket glass. The diamond appears free from chipping/nibbling and is quite clean, it presents as light yellow in colour.
The turquoise set brooch displays some surface wear. It appears that the dropper is a later addition to the brooch, but the articulation is smooth. There are some areas of tarnishing/marking to the metal as well as some small areas of denting. It is likely that the turquoise in the brooch has been replaced, the pin and 'C' clasp appear to be original. There is some glue residue on the reverse of the brooch.
