There is some surface scratching to the shield face and significant wear to the back of the band, the shield face remains vacant. The finials of the shield have worn slightly and there is a small, narrow crack/fissure on the inside of the back of the band that appears to only be surface deep (it cannot be seen from the outside). There is overall wear and insignificant scratching/marking commensurate with use. The hallmark to the shank is rubbed leaving the purity and office indistinguishable, the date letter is 't' and the sponsor mark 'HC&S'.
