the 16th of November, 1914, joining the Norfolk Regiment. He landed in France
on the 30th of May 1915 and was later transferred to the 11th Bn Notts &
Derby Regiment. He was sadly killed with them on the 5th of October 1918. He is
buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gouy,
