Alexander was a Private (73587) in the Royal Army Medical Corps; he died of wounds on the 21st of September 1917.

Son of Mrs Farquharson and the late John Rodger Farquharson, of Lauriston Castle Gardens, Davidson's Mains, Edinburgh. Native of Kinfauns, Perthshire.
