A TRIO OF FABULOUS SPARKLING WINES FROM BRIDE VALLEY VINEYARD

Battens Solicitors is delighted to sponsor the following two auction prizes for the fundraising drive for Dorset Museum. Battens is a keen and longstanding supporter of the local arts community and especially Dorset Museum.  Battens sponsored the recent Thomas Hardy exhibition hosted by the museum and recognises the key role the organisation plays in the cultural life of the local community.

Owners of Bride Valley vineyard, Steven and Bella Spurrier, made Litton Cheney their home in 1987 after time spent living in France, London and New York. From early on, Steven was keenly aware of the potential of growing vines on his wife’s 200-acre farm on the edge of the village. The first harvest was gathered in 2011 and three elegantly sparkling wines were produced in the traditional Champagne method and released in 2014-a classic clean Blanc de Blanc, a Brut Reserve and a Rose for summer drinking named Rose Bella in honour of his wife.
