There are several losses and slight damages to the case, including to the veneer. Evidence of old worm. Damages to the fretwork spandrels. Wear to the gilt work lettering on tha glazed door. Slight tarnishing to the metal badges. 

The polyphon appears to play music with a good sound. The music stopped playing after a short while however it did not seem to correspond with the end of a song.
