the rectangular top supported by five square splayed supports terminating in leaf capped ormolu base, 37cm high x 37cm wide x 19cm deep

Provenance: The Estate of the late John Rollo Somerset-Paddon, formerly of Chalk Newton House, Maiden Newton, Dorset, thence by descent.

The top and the back of the bracket are constructed of black painted pine. The tortoiseshell is genuine. The bracket exhibits chipping and losses to the tortoiseshell. There is some deterioration and some losses to the brass work.
