AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY DERBY POTTERY POT POURRI AND COVER

of urn form, with floral finial, face masks, on paw feet and inswept square base, decorated in pink blue and gilt with leaf scrolls, 14cm high, a Bloor Derby inkwell, four pieces of Masons Ironstone pottery and seven pieces of early 19th Century Imari pottery (13)

Provenance: The Estate of the late John Rollo Somerset-Paddon, formerly of Chalk Newton House, Maiden Newton, Dorset, thence by descent.

Pot pourri has a damaged cover and chipped finial, wear to the decoration and gilding.

Inkwell is worn to decoration and gilding. 

Masons bowl is cracked with stapled repair.

Small derby vase has a large chip to the rim. 

Masons Jug OK, slight wear to rim and foot. 

Small Imari vase with a repaired chip to the foot, wear to the gilt. 

Small cups and saucer exhibit hairline cracks.

Masons dish has small crack to one edge.

Wear to gilt and decoration overall.
