Provenance: The Estate of the late John Rollo Somerset-Paddon, formerly of Chalk Newton House, Maiden Newton, Dorset, thence by descent.

The pepper mill has slight denting and a misshapen foot.

The butter knife is slightly creased and scuffed to blade, the handle is slightly worn.

The other items comprise - a Victorian silver pepperette (damaged to base), a George IV silver gilt dessert knife by Aaron Hadfield (damaged), an Edward VII silver circular Vesta case (slightly dented and with hole to rim), two Dutch white metal sifter spoons (both damaged) and a part set of six Dutch white metal teaspoons, cased
