The brooch is in good condition with some slight wear evident commensurate with its age and use. All diamonds are present and show up fairly white with a slight grey tinge. On the whole they are quite well matched with some small inclusions evident in places, some examples are slightly darker in colour with one or two being fairly dull and lacking scintillation. The pearls appear to have good lustre and nacre. They are slightly grey in colour and are well matched. The rollover clasp is present and functions well, the pin is straight and does not have a loose hinge. The brooch has a gross weight of circa 3.3g.
