by James Deakin and Sons, Sheffield 1910, with shell capped, gadrooned and pierced rims, squat bodies on pad feet, comprising tea kettle with stand, teapot, coffee pot, sugar basin and milk jug, 117 tr. ozs combined gross, each piece engraved with letter ‘M’, together with a silver plated two handled tray of matching design also by James Deakin and Sons, 76cm x 45cm, engraved ‘Presented to Wm. Morris Esq, HMSI of Schools 1871-1911’

This service is of good gauge and quality. Each element has the base construction visible, with the teapot base looking to be a repair.

There is surface wear and the coffee pot is dented to spout.
