Note: S.S. Mervyn was built by R. Thompson & Sons of Sunderland in 1924, weight 3402 tons and 337 ft long. She was owned by Martyn, Martyn & Co, Cardiff. She sank after a collision with S.S. Langleeford on 01.11.39 10 miles south east of the Smalls Lighthouse whilst carrying a cargo of coal.
