Provenance: 'Important 20th Century Decorative Arts, including works by the Tiffany Studios', Christies, New York, 10th - 11th December 1993, lot 711
Property of an eminent German economist who retired to the West Country.

Shade

Apparently unsigned, appears structurally sound without any play or movement. Overall the glass panels seem to be in good order, with only a few showing any cracks. The fretwork top cap sits well and the metalwork appears solid. Some rubbing to the metal where the shade sits on the base. One locater hole marked “1”.

Base

The bronze base appears to be in good overall condition with no obvious signs of damage. There is an attractive green/brown patina overall.
