hand-coloured canvas, inscribed "Fred Welsh, Pontypridd versus Johnny Summers, London for the Lightweight Championship of England £2,200 and The National Sporting Club Belt on November 8th 1909", framed and glazed, 34cm x 20cm

Note: Freddie Welsh (5th March 1886-29th July 1927) was a Welsh World Boxing Champion. The lightweight boxer was born in Pontypridd, Wales, and nicknamed "The Welsh Wizard".
