Note: 'Nec Me Meminisse Pigebit' may be interpreted as 'Nor shall I regret to remember', a poignant legacy for an old Irish house. Famously the phrase is also used in the Aeneid chapter 4, in Aeneas' speech to Dido before his departure where his absolute commitment to his destiny and duty ultimately results in her death.
