A PAIR OF CHINESE CARVED AND GILTWOOD PANEL GROUPS

Qing dynasty, one of the central panels decorated in relief with rats amongst fruiting and flowering plants, the other central panel similarly decorated with birds amongst blossoming foliage, both with top panels of precious objects and lower panels of warriors and attendants, each set within lacquer frames, each 72cm x 34cm overall (2)

The panels appear to be have been previously mounted as doors, there are hinge recesses to the outside. The carvings are largely in good condition with minor gilt wear apparent.
