18th century, the cup painted with a vignette of a man struggling with a goat, a woman standing by, and a church spire to the distance, gilded rim, blue crossed sword marks to the base, incised “N”, the saucer similarly decorated with a pastoral scene, blue crossed sword marks to the base, incised “67”, 13cm wide

Some wear to gilding and fritting to edges. Mark to one side of the cup (as photographed). Wear and a very small chip/firing fault to the foot rim. No damages or restorations apparent under blue light.
