18th century and later, worked with fruit and flowers on a gros-point wool-work ground, fringed with tassels, 180cm x 235cm

Provenance: Purchased from Wilkinson's, 3rd December 2017, Lot 80.
The residual contents of Claveys Farmhouse, Mells Green, Somerset.

The tapestry has wear and areas of thinning throughout. The tasselled edges are fragile and fraying slightly in areas. The colours are slightly faded. Rings have been fixed to one side at the reverse so that it might be wall mounted. Otherwise OK.
