Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This clock is by a good maker and the movement is very fine.

The case is worn and may require some restoration. There are some losses to the veneer, most notably to the reverse door. An element of moulding missing from the back corner. The escutcheon is missing. Feet detached but present. Key, winder, pendulum all present.

We have not run the clock and do not guarantee that the mechanism is in full working order. An initial examination suggests that the strike action is jammed and needs attention.

Please see the additional images available on request.

17/10 - further inspection- the clock does run but doesn’t strike.
