A 17TH CENTURY PANELLED OAK CUPBOARD

with moulded cornice over a plain frieze, a pair of cupboard doors beneath with shallow upper panels, arcaded middle panels and decorative lower panels applied with oval rings of geometric moulding, hung on iron butterfly hinges, on stile feet, 167cm high x 101cm wide x 52cm deep

There are a number of restorations and alterations; including replacement feet, later fixings to the interior, a repaired splat to one side and a later door lock. Areas of dryness and wear to the panelling. A few small knocks and scratches. The back panels are likely replaced. This cupboard is of attractive proportion and colour.
