This is a set of the rare second edition in good overall condition. There is minor foxing and staining throughout and the later binding is of good quality and in good condition.


In addition, these are some obvious faults - 

Volume 1 - pimperne maze is torn (inserted at page 174), corfe castle no. 2 is slightly torn (inserted at page 187)

Volume 2 - small backed tear to Weymouth chart (inserted at page  62), small tear to monument plan inserted at page 259, small backed tear to Shaftesbury map (inserted at 392)

Volume 3 - pedigree of trenchard plate is torn (inserted at page 22) and deer hunter has a slight tear (inserted at page 67)
