Biographical note: Henry William Moule was born 16th September 1871 in Hangchow, China, son of Reverend George Evans Moule, a Christian Missionary. Henry William attended Corpus Christi College, Cambridge after which he was ordained and returned to China, continuing his father’s missionary work. He returned to England in 1922 and was Vicar of Damersham until 1948. He died on 8th April 1953.
