19th century, the young boy in a tricorn hat handing a flute to the seated girl, against a naturalistic background, 14cm high x 12cm wide

Restoration or over painting visible under blue light to the left hand of the girl and to the leaves of the tree to the back. Small chips to the gents hat, the tree trunk, the flower held by the girl. The basket is missing its handle. Repair to the flute. Very slight wear to colour and gilding.
