A COALPORT TYPE ENGLISH PORCELAIN TWO HANDLED URN AND COVER

19th century, pierced Rococo decoration to the lid and neck, the body with painted vignettes, on one side a river landscape, ruined abbey and figures, the other a spray of flowers, on a blue ground within gilded borders, 38cm high

The lid appears to have been restored under blue light. Both handles have been broken and restored. There are hairline cracks visible to the interior. Very slight wear to the decoration and gilding. Wear to the foot and hairlines visible to the base.
