1822 pattern, the sword shows overall signs of age and use, the grip and wire are complete, with some loss of gilt to the pommel and guard, the blade 82.6cm, etched but faded, the maker looks to be 'Wilson', the blade shows signs of pitting consistent with age, the leather scabbard retains all the fittings but is brittle in places, overall a solid example
