William Henry Morgan was born in Upton Bishop, Ross, Hereford. He attested for the Scots Guards in London on 3rd November 1886 aged 20. He gave his occupation as Labourer.
On 5th October 1898, he re-engaged for 21 years with the colours. Morgan served in South Africa from 15th March 1900 until 27th October 1902. He was discharged on 31st October 1907.
Medal and clasp confirmed, he is also entitled to the KSA.
