In historic country house condition consistent with age and the materials employed.

The top is unusual being oval and pierced. A feature more usually found on continental furniture. This stool boasts a particularly attractive colour and dry surface and although there is some evidence of minor worm damage and the usual wear associated with a piece of this period, in overall terms, it is in exceptional condition. The turned feet are slightly worn but appear to be original.
