inlaid with herringbone banding, the upper section with a moulded cavetto cornice over two short and three long drawers, and the stand with three drawers and a shaped apron, on cabriole legs ending in pad feet, apparently retaining the original engraved brass handles and escutcheons and with stained pine sides, 98cm wide x 55cm deep x 163cm high

A general rich colour, in good country house condition with small scratches and surface marks commensurate with age.

There is later blocking to reinforce the stand.

There are cracks to the sides and small repairs opposite the knee of one side

The central drawer has an old repair to one side evident from the difference in patination.
