Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

In good country house condition with still vibrant embroidery.

The hessian backing is stained and has small holes particularly down the centre.

The ‘brown’ background to the front has general areas of wear. There are losses to stitches/wear such as those around the central dated wreath.

There are areas where the stitching has come weakened, revealing the hessian behind, particularly where there are areas of ‘darting’.

It is highly likely that this piece was converted from another item.
