Provenance: Ven House, Milborne Port, and the frame inscribed “No. 1 Drawing Room Door” in a late 18th century hand, and “Drawing Room” in a late 19th century hand.

In attractive country house condition on a heavily lined canvas backed with board. With associated retouching and flaking where the paint surface is unstable across much of the composition. 

The frame is in good country house condition and with minor losses consistent with age and the nature of the material.
