Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

In good county house condition overall.

The vellum panel of the 'armes of the ancient family of medlicot of salop' is warped, creased  and wrinkled.

It has been attached to a red backing to mount.

There is staining around the edges in particular and nibbles to the outline, plus small holes where it may have been pinned down previously.

It has fading generally although this does not detract from the crest and inscription which is still vibrant.

The two other panels are faded and uneven in their later frames. There are surface scratches and marks throughout and

one has a staple to repair the tear.
