In good country house condition with minor losses. The unlined canvas in need of a clean. The adapted 18th century frame is now inset with spandrels and the gilding on these shows significant areas of rubbing.
The carving on the frame itself is generally in good condition and the later gilding is largely intact with some areas of losses and rubbing to be expected.
