As a general overview, the bindings throughout are original and tight, with the pages bright and clean internally. The bindings are slightly scuffed and rubbed. 

The following is condition per volume: 

Volume 1. Torn and missing to part of front front leaf and frontispiece torn. 

Volume 2. Parts 1&2. Top right corner of front flyleaf cut out (removed inscription) and torn following page. 

Volume 2. Parts 3&4. This has been bound upside down - the binding and contents are the wrong way up to each other. Top right corner of front flyleaf cut out (removed inscription). 

Volume 3. Top right corner of front flyleaf cut out (removed inscription). 

Volume 4. Top right corner of front flyleaf cut out (removed inscription). 

Volume 5. Good overall. 

Volume 6. Top right corner of front flyleaf cut out (removed inscription) and some damage to front cover.

Volume 7. Good overall, retains Cantata to back.

Volume 8. Top right corner of front flyleaf cut out (removed inscription). 

Volume 9. Some pages creased to top right corners. 

Volume 10. Good overall, 

Volume 11. Good overall. 

Volume 12. Bruise/blemish to front board and stained to index page.
