There are marks to the cover and rubs to the gilt on the front and on the page edges.
There is some discolouration to the pages and an uneven quality to some due possibly due to damp.
The spine is broken and there are signs of repair to the opening page.
Ther is some foxing to pages including the illustrations but the colours are mostly vibrant commensurate with age.
