In attractive historic country house condition. Elements of the raised japanning missing leaving a silvery grey shadow. The painted decoration extensively crazed and consistent with the age and nature of the material. The back extensively rubbed, particularly along the edges of the handle and much of the black ground also missing in the central section. The old leathers replaced. The brass nozzle with abrasions and marks consistent with age and useage.
