17th century, carved with Christ and the woman of Samaria at the well, with traces of gilding apparent, 12.5cm x 9.5cm, in an oak and gilt pine frame, a 19th century ink inscription verso
This plaque is significantly cracked and the bowl is restuck. Most of the original gilding has worn away.
The frame has later red fabric applied to border.
