A DIAMOND FLORAL SPRAY BROOCH

the principal round brilliant cut diamond measuring approx. 6.61mm, is central to one of the diamond encrusted flowers, two further diamonds measuring approx. 5.26mm and 5.17mm, form the centre of the other pair of blooms, the diamonds set in 18ct gold, c.6.30 carats total weight, the brooch measuring approx. 76mm x 44mm (c.38g gross weight)

The brooch is likely a reproduction c.1960's-1970's, possibly an insurance remake of a much earlier piece. The pin is misshapen with the rollover catch sticking slightly and there is a significant amount of solder under the principal bloom, there do not appear to be any significant losses and all stones are present. The diamonds are all well matched and have good scintillation.
