Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

The pendant brooch is in very good condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair. All stones are present, with both the diamonds and pearls being well matched. The diamonds are bright and fairly white, they are on the whole quite clean with some minor inclusions visible. There are no noticeable nibbles/chips and they appear to be securely set with no evidence of splitting to their collets. The pearls are creamy in colour with a good lustre, all appear to be original and there are no obvious signs of damage.

The pendant bale and hook are free from splitting, thinning and bending, as is the pin which functions securely, although this differs in colour from the body of the pendant brooch so may be a later replacement. A safety chain is present and is attached to the bale.

There is some marking/ scratching to the reverse of the pendant brooch with an inventory number of '945' etched into the gold. There is no evidence of misshaping or bending to the body of the piece.
