The ring displays some age commensurate with wear, as well as evidence of repair. The ring has been re-shanked in the past with a 9ct gold band. There is wear to the setting, galleries and shoulders, with some claw work being required. The emerald displays some abrasion, but is of good colour and presents an attractive example of jardin. One diamond is likely a later replacement, however they are well matched, both facing up bright white and displaying good scintillation, some inclusions are visible.
