A PAINTED WOODEN MODEL OF HOULDER LINE ORE CARRIER SHIP ‘OREDIAN’

constructed by Radio Officer D. Owen, the vessel in black, red and white livery, on double plinth, 28cm high x 160cm long x 30cm wide, bearing plaque worded ‘Presented to the Port Talbot Sea Cadets Unit by Houlder Brothers and Company Ltd, 1969’

Note: Built by Houlder Brothers in 1955, Oredian was sold to a Greek shipping line in 1971 and renamed Oredian Star.
