Both Box and blotter have extensive wear to the ormolu, the gilding being largely worn away.
There is some damage to the ivorine, particularly to the front of the box and the mount to top of box is loose.
The walnut veneer is in good overall condition commensurate to age and use.
The box interior is slightly damaged, with one of the partitions missing.
