in 18ct gold and silver, set with an octagonal mixed cut emerald of c.4.18 carats, held in a claw setting, surrounded by a border of old mine cut diamonds, totalling c.1.44 carats, no assay marks, UK size K1/2 / Eu size 51, (gross weight - c.6.2g), accompanied by a period box

The ring is in very good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The emerald is in good condition with no signs of chips and only a few very light abrasions to the top facet edges. Excellent colour and transparency with some phased inclusions visible under x10 loupe. The emerald measures 9.93x8.85x5.88mm. Secure in its setting. All claws present and in good condition. The diamonds are all present and in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Estimated G-I colour and VS/Si clarity. One shoulder stone shows two surface cleavage across a kite facet All secure in their settings. Some silver settings have some light wear and tarnish, commensurate with age. The band is in good condition. Evidence to suggest the ring has been previously resized at some point. Only light scratches and minimal signs of wear to the bottom of the band.
