A BURMA RUBY AND DIAMOND RING

in platinum, set with an oval cut ruby of c.1.10 carats in a stylised setting accented by tapered baguette and round brilliant cut diamonds, stamped 'Pt900', UK size H1/2 / Eu size 47, (gross weight - c.6.3g), accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the ruby is of Burmese/Myanmar origin.

The ring is in good condition with no signs of damage or heavy wear. The ruby is in good condition with no signs of chips. There are a couple of small abrasions to two crown facet edges. Only visible under x10 loupe. The ruby has a deep purplish red hue with good life to it. Natural feather and two phase inclusions. The diamonds are all present and in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. All secure in their settings. There is evidence to suggest the ring has been previously resized at some point.
